Leather Jackets

Behind Hack Lederware is Christoph Hack, founder and fine bag maker with his own studio in Cologne. He has been working with a wide variety of leathers for decades, gaining a wealth of experience that flows into the design of the garments. For example, Hack only uses leather with natural finishes from Germany, Italy and Scandinavia to create hard-wearing, functional clothing and simple accessories. The models made from cowhide, horsehide and deerskin document traces of an animal's life such as insect bites or thorn cracks.
